Here is a full set of isolated multitracks for the song “Under Pressure” by Queen. The piano at the start of the song is so simple but catchy to the point where most people can name this song after 1 or 2 bars of music. The intro was so catch Vanilla Ice decided to try and rip it off for his one hit wonder “Ice Ice Baby”.

Under pressure is a 1981 hit written in collaboration with David Bowie who provides vocals on the track. The song topped the UK singles charts and was released on Queen’s 1982 album “Hot Space”. It was performed at every concert since it’s release until the final tour of the band. Enjoy!

Through the fire and the flames is a blistering track by metal band “Dragonforce” made famous by the video game guitar hero. The song showcases unbelievable fretwork from guitarists Herman Li and Sam Totman who really push the boundaries of what is humanly possible on a guitar. Here is a full set of isolated multitracks for the track “Seize the Day” by the modern metal band “Avenged Sevenfold”. The track was released in 2005 as the fourth single on their third studio album “City of Evil”.

City of Evil was the bands first album on a major label and what many believe to be a more mainstream release by the band which is evident with a sizable absence of screaming vocals by lead singer M.Shadows. However this allowed the band to exploit there musical creativity and really let’s the guitar mastery of Synyster Gates shine through with the support of Zacky Vengeance.

For those of you looking to learn a few guitar solos, the solo in this song is one of my favorites and it is not overly difficult. Synyster Gates uses a very melodic approach to this solo and really emphasizes that it’s not all about speed and shred. Watching him play it ion top of a coffin in the video clip is also pretty cool! Here is a set of isolated multitracks for the classic rock tune “Thunderstruck” by Australian rockers AC/DC. This is the first track from their 1990 album Razor’s Edge and the song peaked at number 5 on the Billboard Hot Mainstream rock tracks. The title of the song was supposedly conjured following a flight carrying guitarist Angus Young was struck by lightning.

Obviously the intro and main lead guitar line played throughout the track is the highlight and being able to listen to this in isolation is valuable and will greatly assist anyone wanting to learn how to play it. Contrary to what many people believe, Angus Young picks every note in the lead as opposed to employing a single hand tapping technique. You will see this if you watch any live videos of this song. The only video that shows Angus Young tapping this Riff is the official music video. Enjoy!

Here is a full set of isolated multitracks for the hit song “The Boys are Back in Town” by Thin Lizzy. If you are a bloke I’m sure you will have great memories of this song. I remember driving down the street with mates belting this tune out as loud as our voices and the car stereo would allow!

“The Boys are Back in Town” was released in 1976 on Thin Lizzy’s album Jailbreak. In 2004 it managed to scrape in at position 499 of Rolling Stone’s 500 Greatest Songs of All Time. Given Thin Lizzy were an Irish Hard Rock band, the song is played before most Irish rugby matches.

The twin lead guitars by Scott Gorham and Brian Robertson really ad the color to this song and they do a great job of grabbing our attention. It’s good old rock.. done well… Enjoy!

Here is a full set of isolated multitracks from thrashers Megadeth for their hit song “Hangar 18″. The song is from Megadeth’s 1990 album Rust in Peace. Hangar 18 refers to a site at an airforce base in Ohio which “was speculated to have housed an alien aircraft in 1947. Hangar 18 was also nominated for “Best Metal Performance” at the 1992 grammy awards. Enjoy!

I don’t know about you but this song is instilled in my mind as it was released when I was an angry young teenager who hated the world and thought the world hated me. Here is a full set of isolated multitracks for the blistering metal track “six” by All that Remains. If you are a fan of the Guitar Hero games you will know this song very well as it was featured as an unlockable song on guitar hero 2.

The song is from All that Remains 2006 album “Fall of Ideals” which brought the band it’s first taste of mainstream success. The album opened at 75 on the billboard charts and sold 13,000 copies in it’s first week. For you killswitch engage fans you may like to know that “Fall of ideals” was mixed and produced by guitarist Adam Dutkiewicz who is a much wanted man in the metal community when it comes to mixing and production.

Listening to the guitars in isolation in this multitrack really allows you to appreciate the technicality of Oli Herbert’s guitar playing. Enjoy!

Here is a quality set of isolated multitracks for the song “Zero” by The smashing Pumpkins. “she’s the one for me, she’s all I really need…..” those lyrics stick in my head for ages whenever I listen to this song.

The isolated guitar track really lets you hear the intricacies in the addictive dirty sound of the main guitar riff. Also listening to Billy Corgans vocals without all of the other instruments is amazing, what a talented guy. Enjoy and there will be more multitracks on the way soon!
