Under Pressure

Guitar:

Bass:

Drums:

Keyboard & Synths:

Acapella Vocals:

Guitar Backing Track:

Here is a full set of isolated multitracks for the song “Under Pressure” by Queen. The piano at the start of the song is so simple but catchy to the point where most people can name this song after 1 or 2 bars of music. The intro was so catch Vanilla Ice decided to try and rip it off for his one hit wonder “Ice Ice Baby”.

Under pressure is a 1981 hit written in collaboration with David Bowie who provides vocals on the track. The song topped the UK singles charts and was released on Queen’s 1982 album “Hot Space”. It was performed at every concert since it’s release until the final tour of the band. Enjoy!

Orion

Guitar:

Bass:

Drums:

Here is a full set of isolated multitracks for the song “Orion” by the godfathers of metal, Metallica. Orion is an instrumental track from Metallica’s third album “Master of Puppets”. I love this track because it features lead style bass guitar playing by Cliff Burton. Burton plays several solos on his Bass which could easily be mistaken for electric guitars. Enjoy this amazing song in broken down multitrack form. RIP Cliff Burton.

Back in Black

Guitar:

Bass:

Drums:

Vocals:

Enjoy this set of multitracks for Back in Black by ACDC. Ask any guitarist and they will agree that this is arguably one of the best guitar riff’s ever written. Back in Black was one of the singles off the album of the same name which was ACDC’s seventh studio album released in July 1980. However these isolated multitracks are taken from the Live at Donnington DVD album in 1991. The fact these isolated tracks are live just makes it better and they have that raw edge to them. Listen to Brian Johnson’s vocal multitrack, hearing his growling voice in isolation is a treat!

Money for Nothing

Guitar:

Drums:

Guitar Backing Track:

Here are some isolated multitracks of Money for nothing by Dire straights, which has to be one of the most iconic songs of the 80′s. It was a hit single from Dire Straights 1985 album “Brothers in Arms” and was one of their most successful singles and peaked at number one in the US for 3 weeks. The distinct guitar sound was recorded with a Gibson Les Paul 58 through a Laney Amplifier. Mark Knopfler also uses a wah-wah pedal set to a certain position. The extra colour was then added by the random placement of two Shure SM57 microphones, there was no additional mixing or alteration of the sound. This guitar sound is actually a replica of ZZ Top guitarist Billy Gibbons signature sound.

You won’t put your guitar down after hearing these isolated master tracks of what is one of the catchiest guitar riffs of all time!

Eddie Van Halen is one of the fittest 57 year old blokes going around! He is a renowned guitarist known for his lightening fretboard speed, energetic stage presence and raw sound. He likes to wrestle his guitar and you can really hear this in his playing. Listen to this isolated guitar multitrack and piece together this amazing solo for yourself.
